Resume writing techniques

We are no ordinary resume writing company, and our methods reflect this.
Virtually all resume companies (executive resume specialists or otherwise) use close variations of the same decades-old resume writing methodology that is dated and out of sync with the needs and expectations of today’s employers in the fast-paced job market.

This lack of vision to move on with the times is one reason why a lot of professional resumes look very similar, say the same kind of things, and tend to just blend into piles of applications, rather than stand out and get noticed.

Our methods, on the other hand, have been specially developed by our head writer and top international resume writing visionary, Paul. The methods have been developed, tried and tested in the job market over a period of years and are tried and tested to achieve better results than typical professional resumes.

These new, more radical techniques are documented in detail in Paul’s book, The One Page CV, published by a top international career sector publisher. However, in brief our methods revolve around saying more in fewer words – something which ties in perfectly with sales and marketing principles – and our resumes are concise, powerfully optimized and high impact. Moreover, they are miles apart from the traditional long and cluttered resumes with passive writing and typical mixed/diluted messages that are typically the norm.

Of course, new, higher impact methodology is just part of the equation – it is the implementation of this methodology which is the hardest thing to achieve, and especially since saying more with fewer words in a higher impact manner is no mean feat. Indeed, in our experience, only the very best, naturally creative and talented resume writers can successfully apply the methodology to produce powerful, job winning executive resumes.
